The SYNERGISTIC Deborah Deras

Discusses the Global Latino Summit

I had the honor and the pleasure of interviewing Deborah Deras regarding the upcoming Global Latino Summit. As the producer, organizer, and mastermind behind the idea and the concept, she is a powerhouse of energy. Her Summit promises to be an AWESOME experience. A great way to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month and to share the successes and accomplishments of these AWESOME Latinos with your friends and family.

Click HERE to listen to the interview you will not be disappointed.

And remember to go to Global Latino Summit to sign up for this great opportunity to have a first rate conference come into the comfort of your own home during Latino Heritage Month.

The Lion’s Roar

The Lions’s Roar:

Understanding Your Underlying Beliefs and Finding your MOJO

A pregnant lioness attempting to procure food for herself and her unborn child came upon a herd of goats. The hunt proved too much, she went into labor and succumbed while giving birth. The male cub sat next to his mother’s body not knowing what to do. Goats watched from a safe distance for many hours. After nearly 2 days of watching the cub a mother goat took pity on the cob, adopted him, fed him, protected him, gave him a home, and taught him everything that she could. She knew she could not teach him to be a lion but she did her best. The young cub grew up learning the language of the goats, the behavior of the goats, the manner of the goats. In many ways he was a goat.

As the young lion was becoming an adult an elder lion in search of goat meat spotted the young lion. He remembered the pregnant lioness leaving and not returning. He realized that this was a member of his family. He was distraught at seeing the young lion behaving like a goat, eating like a goat, smelling like a goat, sounding like a goat. He approached the young lion. The goats scattered. The young lion’s adopted family was terrified, he was not. He did not even notice that his adopted family had scattered. He was curious about this larger version of himself.

The old lion attempted to communicate to the young lion that he was not a goat but a lion. He did not succeed. The old lion took the young lion to the watering hole and showed him his reflection in the water hoping that he would see that he did not look like a goat but a lion. The young lion did not understand. The old lion took the young lion on a full run on the Savannah and the young lion, who had never run this fast, this far before began to feel more alive than he ever had in his life. The two soon wandered upon a herd of gazelles. There was an older gazelle hanging at the back of the herd, the old lion went in for the attack and the young lion joined him, instinctively knowing what to do.  The older lion started feasting on the gazelle. The young lion at first looked perplexed, but soon his innate instincts took over and he tentatively tried the meat. He enjoyed the taste, it made him feel satisfied and powerful. He ate freely of the meat until he was satiated. He then realized that he was not a goat but a lion. His innate instincts took over once again and he roared the roar of mighty a lion for the first time.

Have you found your Lion’s Roar? Do you know who you are? Have you found your inner Goddess???

Connie Costa—Transformational Coach and International Speaker

Connie Costa—Transformational Coach and International Speaker

Connie is an inspiring spiritual guide. I first met Connie as a Facebook friend and I was drawn to her posts, her quotes, and the articles she chose to share. She realized I was interested in what she had to offer and started inviting me to her inspirational retreats.

I have been able to attend a few of her meetings and I would have to say the Ojai Retreat I attended was one of the most spiritual experiences that I have had. I felt spiritually grounded, connected to source, surrounded by a profound love, and transformed. I met the most amazing people and it was truly one of those experiences where you go home “knowing” the Universe has aligned on your behalf. Yes, truly Transformational…

Two people that day told me that they were getting messages for me to “just continue being happy” and that “I was on the right path.” The day, the people, the experience–all left me feeling that source was truly connecting with me and I could feel the magic, the love, the miracles.

Connie has many wonderful services, including a trip to Italy and wonderful dinners in Beverly Hills, she is an AWESOME coach and her services are well worth checking out.

Gracias, mi amiga, aprecio todo que haces.

Embracing Gratitude

Ivan Lomelii—Latino Success Network

diciseis-postersWinning an iPad!!!

I only met Ivan once, at a mall in Los Angeles when I won an ipad from a promotion that he was doing. He is the founder of Latino Success Network and he was running a promotion. His promotion had to do with each of us getting a specific code and he would see who posted the most, and I won!!!

I was so excited, not by the iPad, I had ordered mine the day before I won, lol, but because it was proof from the Universe that what you need will arrive when you need it, and I needed this. I needed to see how that internet marketing worked, my experience with Ivan, was the proof that I needed.

So as I said, the universe will provide what we need when we need it, we just have to be open to the possibilities and be able to see what we are being given. In this instance, I was beginning to get a glimpse of how it is done.

Gracias, Ivan, eres muy amable.

Nely Galan and the Adelante Movement

Mujer Adelante!!! w/ Nely Galan

Thanksgivings 2011 145

A shout out to Nely Galan and the Adelante Movement is in order. I had been dabbling with a few networking events here and there, and I was working on launching my blog and developing a social media presence, all in preparation of launching my internet business and the First Adelante Movement Conference came to Los Angeles. It was a free event and I was excited about it. I went with a friend and I had the best time ever. It was just what I needed at the time to help me along the path of my journey!!!

There were over 300 women in attendance and many of the women I met that day, or saw speak that day or talked to during an event, are people I am still friends with today, and some are a part of my “qunices”. It was an AWESOME day of empowering Latinas and letting us know that we are special and that we are going places. The day was AWESOME. I did talk to Nely that day, but then so did about 300 other mujers and I jsut want to do a shout out to here letting her know how much I appreciate what she did that when she brought all of us together.

I don’t think she has any idea of the reach her event has had, but through that group, I went onto Pitch Parties for Count Me In (I was not selected), but I did meet an AMAZING group of women, many of whom are still in my circles today.

The Adelante Movement has grown and they have events in many different cities. I think they are on the 4 or 5 city since we launched in Los Angeles. I still have my ADELANTE bracelet, a great reminder of who we are and how far we can go if we DREAM BIG and do not let anything or anyone get in the way.

Mil Gracias, Nely, por tu visión and tu pasión para la mujeres Latinas, we do stand on incredible shoulders.

The Universe truly does provide just what you need when you need it.

Top Fifteen Divine “Caminantes”

“Caminante, no hay camino, se hace el camino al andar.” Machadocinco

Whenever we embark on a journey or an adventure to fulfill a dream, the universe conspires on our behalf to make things happen and to ensure that we are successful. We just have to put it out there and our DIVINE selves will find the people and the situations to help us along the way. The Universe will put in our path, just those individuals that we need in order advance to the next step or to the next level.

There are many who have been a part of my journey and many who have helped me along the way, and I thank each and everyone of you. If you have touched my heart and soul, you know it, mil gracias.

I want to do a special Shout OUT to “Quince Caminantes” who have made an imprint on my heart and soul, the ones the Universe aligned with my dreams and put in my path, the ones who are doing the work that resonates with me.

My 15 Divine “Caminantes”, who have been with me on this journey and came at just the right time to offer what I needed, when I needed it. In alphabetical order, because their entering into my life and helping me out was an organic and recursive process, not a linear straight line, I present them here.

Each one of these “Quince Caminantes” will be featured in their own blog post, where I share how we met, what they do, and the impact they have had on my life, my journey, my soul. So please explore their sites and get acquainted with what they do for the Latino Community!!!

AND, stay tuned for some fun and inspirational reading as I share my meet-up story with each and everyone of these wonderful people who have enriched my life and added to my journey. Mil gracias, mi amigos, I could not have done it without you by my side.
