A shout out to Nely Galan and the Adelante Movement is in order. I had been dabbling with a few networking events here and there, and I was working on launching my blog and developing a social media presence, all in preparation of launching my internet business and the First Adelante Movement Conference came to Los Angeles. It was a free event and I was excited about it. I went with a friend and I had the best time ever. It was just what I needed at the time to help me along the path of my journey!!!
There were over 300 women in attendance and many of the women I met that day, or saw speak that day or talked to during an event, are people I am still friends with today, and some are a part of my “qunices”. It was an AWESOME day of empowering Latinas and letting us know that we are special and that we are going places. The day was AWESOME. I did talk to Nely that day, but then so did about 300 other mujers and I jsut want to do a shout out to here letting her know how much I appreciate what she did that when she brought all of us together.
I don’t think she has any idea of the reach her event has had, but through that group, I went onto Pitch Parties for Count Me In (I was not selected), but I did meet an AMAZING group of women, many of whom are still in my circles today.
The Adelante Movement has grown and they have events in many different cities. I think they are on the 4 or 5 city since we launched in Los Angeles. I still have my ADELANTE bracelet, a great reminder of who we are and how far we can go if we DREAM BIG and do not let anything or anyone get in the way.
Mil Gracias, Nely, por tu visión and tu pasión para la mujeres Latinas, we do stand on incredible shoulders.
The Universe truly does provide just what you need when you need it.

“Caminante, no hay camino, se hace el camino al andar.” Machado
Whenever we embark on a journey or an adventure to fulfill a dream, the universe conspires on our behalf to make things happen and to ensure that we are successful. We just have to put it out there and our DIVINE selves will find the people and the situations to help us along the way. The Universe will put in our path, just those individuals that we need in order advance to the next step or to the next level.
There are many who have been a part of my journey and many who have helped me along the way, and I thank each and everyone of you. If you have touched my heart and soul, you know it, mil gracias.
I want to do a special Shout OUT to “Quince Caminantes” who have made an imprint on my heart and soul, the ones the Universe aligned with my dreams and put in my path, the ones who are doing the work that resonates with me.
