It’s All in Your Heartsong

Reclaiming Your Divinity Latina Women

Motivating and Inspiring Music

As a coach for Infinite Possibilities, I use music in my workshops and courses, which is a very fundamental practice among IPPIES (Infinite Possibilities Trainers). Music has a way of lifting your soul, touching your spirit, and opening your heart.

I have a group of songs that inspire and motivate me that I listen to when I am releasing my passions, connecting with my purpose, and lovin my life. Some of these songs are also a part of my coaching practice, my presentations, and workshops. And as part of the curriculum, there is a provocative question to help individuals truly make a heartfelt connection with the lyrics and the message in the songs.

I have started gathering these inspirational and motivational songs on a YouTube playlist so many of you can have easy access to them and find some of the most inspiring songs on my playlist. Hopefully, these will help you connect to your heartsong, your inner motivation, your DIVINE Self.

Please subscribe to my YouTube channel and start enjoyin these words to inspire your soul and feed your spirit.

Contemplating 2014 is both exciting and exhilarating for me. I have much I want to accomplish and much I want to do in the new year. I am ready for 2014 and ready for it to be MY YEAR once again. (You see, I don’t believe we only get one year.) I have a few things on my “todo” list of what I want to accomplish and I am excited about the opportunities the new year will hold.

On my list for 2014:

The Rise of the Feminine Power: Reclaiming Your Divinity

Chapter 5 Photo

The Rise of the Feminine Power: Join the Movement

What happens when the feminine power rises? What does the shift in feminine energy mean to you personally, mean to your family, mean to your community? Why is this knowledge so powerful within the Latino community? Why will the shift begin with us? Who are we and why are we being called to action?

Chinese Proverb

  • If you want happiness for an hour, take a nap.
  • If you want happiness for a day, go fishing.
  • IF you want happiness for a year, inherit a fortune.
  • If you want happiness for a lifetime, help somebody.

Because with the rise of the feminine power, we are all called to action to help one another achieve our greatness. Join me and RECLAIM, EMBRACE, and CELEBRATE your Divinity!!!

Believe: Embracing Your Divinity

Chapter 4 Photo

When you believe there is enough for everyone, as our ancestors did, you bask in the glory of no one loses and everyone wins!!!

•What have our ancestors taught us?
•What have we learned by the wise ones?
•What will we do with the lessons we have learned?

Our Ancestors taught us to…

…to embrace, caress, and hug and cuddle mother earth in a way only we know how—the knowledge is deep in our DNA—it comes from the old ancestral  wisdom—it is a part of who we are—de nuestras mamas, nuestras abuelas—nuestras visabuelas—nuestras tatarabuelas

Our Ancestors have set the stage for us to…

Reclaiming Our Divinity

DEFINED!!! as…

  • Loving life…livin in balance, laughin all the way to heaven

  • Owning our stories… our past, our present,  our future

  • Defining our legacy… our dreams, our mission, our message

  • Finding our power…our voice, our strength, our abundance

Celebrating Your Divinity

Living in Abundance: Embracing Your Divinity

Chapter 2 Photo

Living in Abundance: the Law of Attraction

As we embrace our spirituality, we own our wealth!!!

Steps to Abundance:

•Love yourself
•Know yourself
•Believe in yourself
•Care about your self
•Embrace your self
•Kiss yourself

Shift your perspective from one of scarcity to one of abundance and bask in the knowledge that you are divine and destined to live your purpose.

1.There is a fixed pot of money, goods, resources
2.For me to get mine, you cannot get yours
3.If I win, someone else has to lose
4.It is always a win/lose, so one of us has to lose
5.It is a zero sum game

1.There is more than enough for everyone
2.I can get mine and you can get yours
3.We can all be winners
4.It is all a win/win
5.It is a game of abundance

Gina Linn Espinoza-Get Wise Latinas and UpLatino

Gina Linn Espinoza—Get Wise Latinas and UpLatino

I first met Gina Linn at a Count Me In Pitch Party. We were both at the Coca-Cola Adelante Mujer event in Los Angeles, but we did not see each other among the 300 Latinas in attendance. However, at a small pitch party in Malibu, I sat at a window seat looking at the ocean and started talking to Gina Linn and it was “DESTINY” at first conversation.

We connected right away, we were professional soul mates who had found each other and we were both on the same mission and we were both pitching our ideas for making the world a little kinder and gentler for Latin@s.

We have become fast friends and I count Gina Linn as one of the master networkers in Los Angeles. She knows everyone and she connects people who need to be connected. She has no ego in this dog eat dog world and she just wants to see everyone succeed. Eres nuestra “madrina.”

She is the founder of Get Wise Latinas and UpLatino, both of which she was revising and developing as we were pitching, both of which have become GO TO organizations for Latinos in Los Angeles. If someone wants a speaker, want to host an event, wants to find a group to network with or a cause to support, then Gina Linn is the go to person.

And as if that was not enough, Gina Linn is also Dra. Love, a life coach, who helps individuals get to the next step on their journey.

And of course, this is not a solo journey, we are all a part of Get Wise Latinas and the inspiring and motivating women I have met there have made a tremendous difference in my life.

Mil gracias, mi amiga, eres maravillosa.

Armando Sanchez–Latino Role Model Success

Armando Sanchez—Latino Role Models Success

Armando and I became fast friends when I answered a call on Facebook from Aaron. Aaron needed someone to interview quickly when his interviewee bailed on him. We had been communicating on FB, so I answered the call. We talked on the phone and Aaron decided his dad, founder of Latino Graduate, would be just the person to interview me.

I went to their studio and we had a great interview. I had my book, Chicken Soup for the Latino Soup, where I have a story, The Bear, and we talked about schools, writing, students, Latino success, and all things education. We quickly discovered we both had a passion for the same things and we started working together. We hosted an author’s fair at Jesse Torre’s bank, we held mixers, and we had planning meetings and book signings, and authors come and pitch their books and their passion for writing.

We had a lot of dinners spent discussing different ways of advancing Latinos in education and always with the idea that Latinos would do well when they read books about themselves and when they started to see themselves as successful.

Armando came into my journey at an interesting time. I was just beginning to network and going to various events with him and planning events with him allowed me to get the networking thing down. Those were good times in my early days of getting started and I still enjoy many wonderful relationships with people I met back then.

Latino Graduate is a great concept and great idea. Armando’s vision is to help Latinos navigate the higher education system so they can access financial aide and scholarships. He really believes that all students need an opportunity to succeed and if they do no make it, it should be a conscious decision, not a decision put on them because they did not know the rules or the game.

Mi amigo, gracias por todo que has hecho para mi y para los ninos latinos, eres muy amable.

Lorraine Ladish–Mamiverse

Lorraine Ladish—Mamiverse

Lorraine and I go back more than 8 years. We met on MySpace, oh so many years ago, before Facebook had really gotten started, where we would blog and communicate with each other in various different ways. Those days were fun, I had over 10,000 friends on MySpace and was one of the last to make the leap to FB. When I finally did leave MySpace, one of the first friends I had on FB, was Lorraine, we were fast friends back in the day and have remained so for so many years.

Lorraine came into my universe just as I was getting started and formulating this idea of an internet business. I still had no real plan, just “una cosquilla” to create something to express my creativity, to share my insights and my poems, to start blogging. I love writing and blogging came naturally to me, and I had some peeps, like Lorraine who were regular readers who inspired me to keep going, to formulate my ideas, and to learn new technologies.

Lorraine also featured my story, El oso from “Sopa de pollo para la Alma Latina” on a TV spot that she did regularly, for which I was forever grateful. She gave fully of herself asking for nothing in return. She has been a great friend and I had the pleasure of meeting and rooming with her at LATISM13, what a treat, what an honor, what a pleasure.

Lorraine is the editor in chief at Mamiverse. She is also the blogger at?? And she also keeps busy with ?? She is awesome at connecting Latinas everywhere and has been a force in our community of Latina bloggers for many years. I am honored to have her as my friend.

MI amiga, eres muy amable y soy muy afortunada que estas en mi vida.
